At the General Members’ Meeting of Air Cargo Nederland (ACN) on July 1, Frank Bos Jr., Managing Director of Bos Logistics, was appointed to the board on behalf of the Truckers Sector Council. With this appointment, the road transport sector within air cargo logistics once again gains a strong voice at the table within the Netherlands’ leading industry association.

What does Air Cargo Nederland do?
Air Cargo Nederland is the collaborative association of parties in the Dutch air cargo sector. ACN unites all links in the chain: from freight forwarders and ground handlers to airlines, truckers, and airports. The organization is committed to an efficient, sustainable, and competitive air cargo sector in the Netherlands by fostering collaboration, addressing bottlenecks, and influencing policy at both the national and international levels.
Bos Logistics in the Air Freight Sector
Bos Logistics has played a prominent role in air freight in the Benelux for many years. From strategic locations at Schiphol and Brucargo, Bos offers a total solution for pre- and post-carriage of air freight, including warehousing, customs clearance, and distribution. Thanks to smart digitization, its own assets, and a strong network, freight forwarders and shippers can count on speed, reliability, and complete logistics support.
Frank Bos’s ambitions as a board member
Frank Bos Jr. sees his appointment as both an opportunity and a responsibility. “Truckers are an essential link in the air freight chain. I want to ensure that our role, challenges, and ideas are well represented within ACN,” says Frank. His ambitions as a board member are clear:
- Representing the truckers: ensuring their interests are heard, from infrastructure and transit times to laws and regulations.
- Building connections: between parties in the chain. “Air freight is all about collaboration. I believe in short lines of communication and trust between all links.”
- Developing the sector: contributing to innovation, digitization, and process optimization, benefiting the entire supply chain.
- Promoting sustainability: as a family business, Bos Logistics is already investing in electric transport, biofuels, and paperless processes. He is now bringing this knowledge and experience to ACN.
Forward-thinking and committed
Frank Bos’s appointment aligns seamlessly with Bos Logistics’ ambition to be a leading and future-oriented logistics partner in the air freight sector. His joining the ACN board further strengthens that position.
