This year, Bos Logistics stood out for its commitment to the environment. The company received the award for “Most Sustainable Initiative” with the launch of the first electric truck at the Brucargo site at Brussels Airport. The electric truck is used for short-distance cargo handling and represents a significant step toward reducing CO2 emissions in airport logistics and promoting sustainable practices within the sector.

In collaboration with DSV, Bos Logistics is setting a new standard for eco-friendly freight solutions at Brussels Airport with this groundbreaking approach. Frank Bos, Managing Director of Bos Logistics, emphasized the importance of this achievement: “Sustainability is high on the agenda at Bos Logistics, and we are actively working to reduce our environmental impact. By implementing electric trucks, we can take a major step toward greener and more sustainable logistics solutions at Brucargo.”

Our ambition is to play a leading role in reducing the CO2 footprint in the first and last kilometers of distribution. In addition to our activities at Brucargo, there are also various initiatives at Schiphol.

We are therefore incredibly proud to have won the “Ahead of the Curve” award. This is proof that our vision and efforts toward a greener future in the logistics sector are recognized and appreciated. Stay tuned, because there’s much more to come!
