We began working for KLM E&M just over a year ago. One of the key commitments of this transition was to make Bos Logistics’ fleet more sustainable. We are proud to have introduced two new motor vehicles for KLM E&M, marking a third crucial step in this process.
Replacing the old diesel vans with electric vehicles, combined with the transition of trucks to HVO100 (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), has immediately resulted in a significant reduction in nitrogen emissions.
By replacing the two oldest trucks with the latest models, we underscore our commitment to sustainability and innovation. We are dedicated to environmentally friendly operations.
The use of electric vehicles and trucks running on HVO100 not only helps reduce nitrogen emissions but also contributes to lowering CO2 emissions. This is a crucial step in the fight against climate change.
The new vehicles replace their old, familiar counterparts and offer numerous new advantages:
- Left side with fully opening doors: This feature ensures better accessibility and more efficient loading and unloading.
- Movable partition: This offers greater flexibility in organizing the cargo.
- Spacious tailgate platform: This facilitates the loading and unloading of goods.
- Lowliner design: This provides improved entry and loading height, which increases safety and efficiency.
The collaboration with KLM E&M demonstrates that working together is the key to success in building a greener future, where innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
The two new motor vehicles were ceremonially handed over last week by Frank Bos Jr., Director of Bos Logistics, to Marc Beumer, Direct Support Leader at KLM E&M.
